Free sharing has always been an essential part of the Vintage & Anarchist Propaganda's graphic and activist work.

Designing works that are Socialist (with a capital S) without making them accessible to as many people as possible undermines both the content - the progressive and revolutionary messages - and the form - inspired by old-fashioned advertising - of vintage & anarchist creations.

It's a commitment that's harder to sustain than it seems, between the pressure and outside comments to make paid content; or the risks of providing files to 'just anyone'. But after more than 3 years, the commitment still stands!

Content has already been stolen! In fact, it was the initial thefts that prompted the creation of the Redbubble shop, to avoid having to buy vintage & anarchist posters from dubious sites.

Furthermore, despite the fact that the files are available in fairly high resolution, thieves continue to use poor-quality, pixelated screenshots.

Making the files inaccessible wouldn't do much good apart from penalising honest friends who just want a few original visuals at home.

Loki Gwynbleidd solemnly declares that NFTs and generative AI are not only nauseating scams, but also ethically and ecologically dangerous practices.

So he curses the cryptobros, the scraping platforms and the defenders of generative AI and invites them to go to hell.

(When they are more developed and accessible, data poisoning solutions and other digital self-defence techniques will be considered). 

The illustrations are distributed free of charge for reasons mentioned above, but that doesn't take away from the fact that creative work is still... work. Each visual takes time to produce and there are all the associated costs.

Donations are a way of recognising this work. They are also a way of supporting a militant and independent approach.

They are of course free and are not necessary to obtain access to the file.

Donations are only used to support creative work and to financially support an artist. They do not confer any special rights, discounts on the shop or any other advantage, so as not to create a hierarchy between art consumers.

The files shared on this site are in PNG format, although it is not impossible to find other more or less exotic extensions in the links.

Image sizes do not exceed A4 format at 300 dpi (for digital posters). Higher resolution files are restricted by Loki Gwynbleidd.

From a hardware point of view, you can do everything possible with image files: use them in a website, make backgrounds, send them by message, print them for display, have them engraved.

From a legal point of view, you will have to follow the obligations of the Creative Commons BY-NC-SA licence detailed on the special conditions page. To put it simply, you won't be able to sell products reproducing a visual from this site.
